To become the most fun, dynamic public golf experience in the Southeast.
While we certainly have a ways to go to get there, we will prioritize PEOPLE FIRST along the way, starting with our Team Members … who will then be the ones to deliver a warm, friendly and fun atmosphere day after day to YOU, our valued customers.

John Rein
Persimmon Pub Kitchen Manager
John has been a culinary asset to Persimmon Pub since 2019. His hardworking attitude, coupled with his creative instinct for great Pub food, makes him such a critical part of the Persimmon Pub product. He is taking the Pub menu to new heights and we are so excited about this as a Club!
When John isn’t working, he’s either playing golf, seeing one of his favorite bands play live, or reading existential philosophy. Next time you’re in the Pub, be sure to say hello!
New owner and operator, Brooks West (pictured above with his young son), is a Mississippi native who has lived in Nashville for nearly 10 years. A PGA Professional since 2004 with more than 20 years of golf industry experience, Brooks has worked a wide variety of roles in the golf industry prior to his purchase of Franklin Bridge. He graduated from Mississippi State’s acclaimed Professional Golf Management Program and is an accomplished player winning the 2007 Gulf States PGA Professional Championship. He would go on to caddy on both the PGA TOUR and Web.com Tour, highlighted by a win on Jerod Turner’s bag at the 2009 Soboba Classic, Rickie Fowler’s professional debut. His green-grass golf operations experience span from Belle Meade Country Club (Nashville, TN) to The Country Club (Brookline, MA) and Dorado Beach Resort & Club (Dorado, Puerto Rico). Most recently, West worked in Golf Car Fleet Sales for the Yamaha Golf-Car Company (Kennesaw, GA) for 8 years as a District, Regional and National Sales Manager – U.S. Dealer and Direct Fleet Sales.
West views this exciting new acquisition as an opportunity to serve Williamson County and surrounding areas, noting, “Franklin Bridge is far more than just a busy golf course as one of the only 18-hole public championship courses south of the booming Nashville market. I feel a duty to serve the families and residents of Williamson County by creating a dynamic golf experience that brings people together in community through outdoor recreation with one another.” Part of that duty is restoring and honoring the rich history of what was originally a beautiful farm split by a county road where School buses traveled across the famed bridge taking Franklin’s future leaders back and forth to school. New ownership will use that same quaint bridge with a new fleet of golf cars crossing its stately trestle to fulfill a deep commitment of creating a customer-centric golf experience that is friendly and welcoming for beginners, women, juniors and the entire family, breaking down many of the traditional barriers present at many golf courses.
A thrill of a lifetime was to make a Hole-in-One on the famed 7th at Pebble Beach, check this out:

Our experience in playing golf courses across the country is a bit of a vibe of, “you are lucky to be here, now pay your green fee and don’t be late to the 1st tee!” Not at The Bridge. As our mission above states, we will put PEOPLE over everything else. We aim to create a sense of ‘belonging’ at our Club without the high initiation fees, monthly dues and assessments present and necessary at Private Country Clubs. Williamson County is among the top counties in the country for quality of life and, as the only 18-Hole Public Golf Course in the county, we view it as OUR DUTY to serve that community in the way it deserves. Our River Club is an unmatched way to create community, work on your game, play in tournaments and moreover … to be a part of something bigger than ourselves.
